I don’t know about you, but a black blazer elevates just about any outfit. It’s perfect for errands or the office. I love to throw it on as a jacket because it even makes leggings and cutoffs put together. It’s almost like lazy Mom styling. Now, I don’t mean moms are lazy…because we definitely aren’t.
But, just like most Mama’s, I don’t want to have to think that hard when putting together an outfit. So, my thought is to throw on a blazer and BAAAMM you look put together!
I found this blazer on sale at Walmart for $9…$9 Dollars you guys! It’s so good, I got it in the navy color too. When I looked it up online it’s $24. But, still that’s such an amazing price!
Here’s why it’s the perfect blazer Right Now. It’s super lightweight and flows, which is perfect for Spring and Summer. We need something that’s not overly warm. A traditional blazer can be a little thick, and this one is a soft, thin material.
So basically, you need this in your closet, because it’s great…Plus I’m sharing over 10 ways to style this black blazer in this post. Best thing is you can mix and match any of these looks to meet your casual, or office vibe!
10 Ways To Style A Black Blazer
I love a blazer with joggers. Joggers can often be so casual, so adding the blazer is the perfect way to dress it up. This halter is actually a Swimsuit top, but works perfectly for this look. You could easily switch it out for a t-shirt as well.
Denim shorts is classic. This one is a graphic tee and mules. This is the perfect combo to look put together without a lot of effort. It’s casual and comfy, but chic at the same time.
On the days it’s a bit cooler pair it with ripped denim and slip-on sneakers. This is such. casual cool look. Oh and these slip-ons are by far my new faves. They are the comfiest shoes!
Dress it up with a fun printed shorts. I love the palm print for summer. This is a great look for happy hour, a dinner date or for any night out really.
Skinny jeans and a tee are such a classic combo. I have mentioned a few times here where you could easily switch out the pumps for a sneaker, or vice versa, and thought I’d share a couple of examples of how easy it is. It’s the perfect way to go from errands to a night out.
Nothing says spring and summer like a fun print. I grabbed this tank for $6 the other day and have been wearing it non-stop. I actually wore this same outfit, but with pumps for a Friday date night with my husband. But, keep it comfy with mules and you’re ready to run errands, lunch, or even the office.
Switch out the graphic tee from early for a plain white tee and the mules for sandals or sneakers. It’s such a simple switch, but a whole other look.
Another example where you can switch out your shoes to make the look work for you, or the occasion. I love this look whether it’s with the pumps or mules. Also, instead of tying the chambray top, you could easily tuck it in.
If you’ve been reading here for a while then you all know I had to put a look in here with leggings. These are the Spanx faux leather leggings and I would have to say that EVERY GIRL NEEDS THESE. They are seriously worth the hype. Pairing it with a graphic tee and pumps creates a chic look and you’re ready for anything. Again you could also put on sneakers with this for a comfier look.
I love a good black blazer, especially one that is so versatile AND affordable. This is the perfect lightweight version of a classic blazer that is perfect for the Spring and Summer months.
