Happy Hump Day my Friends! Spring is in the air and I couldn’t be happier about it. I love when it’s warm enough to wear shorts, but cool enough to pair it with a cozy top. I have actually been living in this ruffle sleeve top lately. I posted it recently on Instagram wearing it with leggings. But, I had it on this weekend with a pair of cutoffs and it was perfect. I have such a thing for cozy tops. Which is why sometimes I feel like I’m not a fan of those super hot summer days.
I know, can you believe I just said that? Let me rephrase that. I do actually like those hot summer days..When I’m inside, HA. The air is on so it’s cool enough to throw on cozy tops and lounge around. This one is so cute. I love the weight of it, it’s soft the ruffles are such a great detail. I think what I like about the ruffles on this one is they’re prominent enough to make statement without being over powering. They are’t as obnoxious and un-mom life friendly as so many others out there.
Also, can we talk about these sandals for a moment? I recently discovered Malvados and they’re amazing. I have a couple of styles and they are so comfy. Annnnd I love that they’re affordable. This simple black pair is perfect to slide on and run errands, wear to the pool or just hanging around outside while the kids play.
This is such an easy look, but the statement sleeve on this top make it much more interesting than a typical sweatshirt and shorts. What do you think, are you a shorts and cozy top fan? I’d love to hear how you keep your classic looks interesting and fresh!
