Alright Mama’s, next week is the start of school for us. I’m both excited and nervous to send Aria to Kindergarten. I know she’s ready…she’s smart, kind and such a great helper with other kids at school. But, sending her to a new school, with new kids and teachers and really just her growing up so fast is what has got me feeling all the feels.
On the other hand, with the start of school means doing all the fun Back to School stuff. Like shopping, getting supplies and prepping for all the fun things she’ll be doing this year. But, beside back to school shopping for your kids, I want you to think about yourself as well.
What do you wear to take your kids to school?
Are you a baggy tee and sweats kinda mom? Are you a I have to get to work so I’m already fully put together when we leave? Or are you somewhere in the middle?
Me, I don’t have to be any where until 10, and that’s only on the two days I work. Otherwise I just blog/work from home. So I don’t get all ready and over the top. But you all know me, and if you’re new here (Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here) then you all know I’m all about the casual, comfy things.
But, we should still look like we made the effort…without actually having to put in a ton effort and time. I like quick makeup (here too), easy hair and a simple outfit to feel like I’m ready to tackle the day.
So I wanted to share a few quick, easy and affordable looks you can mix and match to get a ton of outfits.
I’ve also included a few of the pieces I picked up for the girls on my recent trip to the Legends Outlet Mall. Which by the way, has a ton of great stores like Old Navy Outlet, Express Factory, Banana Republic and Gap Factory, plus some great sporty stores like Nike and Adidas.
