There are so many crazy emotions that arise when it’s time to start back to school. Kids get nervous, parents are anxious, happy and even a little sad to see their babies growing up with each new year. I know many kids and teachers are starting the school year soon, if not already, and the last thing you want to think about is where and what to buy for your kids, especially if you’re like me and have multiple kids to buy for….It can get expensive!!
I have to secretly admit, I feel like boys are SOO much easier to buy for because, like my nephew, they love sneakers, athletic shorts and pants and tees…NOT FAIR! I have two girls and there’s way TOO many cute options when it comes to shirts, pants, rompers and dresses. I know one thing is for sure, every kid needs a backpack to start the new year, and Aria loves her new backpack from Milkdot, they have some great colors and also have some great lunch boxes as well….be sure to use cose KALLIE20 for 20% your purchase!!!

So on to back to school clothes. My favorite places to shop for the girls are Old Navy, Target and Nordstrom Rack.
I think Old Navy is the best place to stock up on leggings and cute graphic tees, as they are always on sale and at a great price. I also always find great deals on skinny jeans and shoes. Also, if you send you’re child to a school requiring a uniform, Old Navy has a great selection of polos and and khaki’s too!
Target is where I tend to stock up on great basics, like socks, tees and outfit sets….especially for Amelia, that 18m-2T size range. Also a great place to find backpacks and lunch boxes and of course all of your supplies.
Then Nordstrom Rack is where I love to go for their sneakers, they always have the BEST deals on Nikes and I have gotten the girls their Uggs at a great price too. I also love to look here for coats, I am obsessed with The North Face fleece jackets because they last us all winter for about 2 years…I tend to go up 1 size so it lasts for a while. Below are some of my favorite items from each of these stores that are great for sending the kids back to school.
I’ve also rounded up a few items for you Mama’s out there, because it’s just as important for you to feel good since you’re up at it as early as the kids!!
Thank you so much for stopping by! Hope you have a wonderful week!
