I’m so excited to share this post with you guys. I get a lot of questions how I managed to get myself together most days with two kids running around. Honestly, most day I’m barely keeping a float. I’m on 4-5 hours of sleep and have a million things on my plate. I know so many are with me with these feelings. As a mom a lot of things fall back on us. We are the ones responsible for keeping it all together. Getting the kids ready and keeping them together. More importantly, we’re then expected to pull ourselves together and look presentable. I think the easiest way to do this is by doing beach waves.
This allows you to have your hair done, but in an organized, messy kind of way. It’s super quick, an if using the right products and tools you can get them to last a few days. You may need a few touch ups here and there, but that’s much easier than having to do your hair every day.
Beach Waves Hair Secrets
Secret #1 Don’t wash your hair everyday. Washing your hair too often strips it of the natural oils that helps keep your hair healthy. Plus not washing it all the times means you dont have to style it very often! I’ll admit, once you commit to there there is a little it of an adjustment period. You will find your hair gets oily and you’ll want to wash it after day 2 or 3, but don’t. Use dry shampoo and a blow dryer to help make it last. After a few weeks of this your hair oils will re-balance and you won’t have as much trouble going longer.
Secret #2 Use dry shampoo on day 1 of clean hair. This helps collect oils early and you’re not playing catch up once your hair has the oils already built up.
Secret #3 You have to use products. Using products in your hair helps the curls last, gives you volume and protects it from heat damage.
