Happy Monday! So Valentine’s Day is next week and I’m already starting to figure out some ideas for what to wear. Annnd, in true mom fashion I’m keeping things SUUUUPER simple. I’m creating a series of looks that you can easily put together. I wanted to focus on styling one item and how to make it work it for the days leading up to the big day. Since I am pretty casual, a mom and don’t really do anything big for Valentine’s Day I chose to create all casual looks. Meaning every look will be with my ALL TIME FAVE piece…A t-shirt!! Yuuup, you heard that right, this all about how to wear a t-shirt for Valentine’s Day.
When planning this series I had to start with my absolute favorite tee. If you guessed Blair Maxwell, then you’re correct. These are seriously my favorite t-shirts ever. Here’s why:
- They are the softest, most lived in tee from the get go
- These are NO FUSS tees. Meaning you can throw them in the dryer and they won’t shrink.
- There is a different style to wear named after the days if the week…So cute right?
The thing I love about a good t-shirt is that it’s so versatile and can be worn so many different ways. It’s perfect with jeans, skirts or leggings. Great by itself or layered with a cardigan or maybe under a dress. So many options. Today I’m sharing the most basic look, jeans and a fitted white tee. This is my favorite because we all have this! Just add a few pops of red and it’s perfect for Valentine’s Day!
I chose this cutie red circle bag from Camino Brands, a local brand here in The Bay Area. This is one of the super cute finds I got while at Apres Soleil. I went for a 70’s vibe with wide leg jeans, but you could easily do any style you have or are most comfortable in.
I’d love to hear about you’re Valentine’s Day plans, do you keep it simple or go all out?
Thanks for stopping by!
