Now that Halloween is over it’s all about the upcoming Holiday Season, well I mean Christmas. I feel like everyone sort of skims over Thanksgiving and goes straight for Christmas. Hey I’m not mad about it, after all it is my birthday as well! With that said, there are always a ton of holiday parties and get togethers. Which means a whole new wardrobe to get you through them all #amiright??? I love wearing dresses for holiday events and parties. They are easy to wear dressed up or down, and go from the office to that holiday party in no time.
I found this cutie dress while perusing through Target (everyone’s Go-To for ALL things HOLIDAY!) one afternoon and it instantly gave me that “Oh I can’t wait for the holidays” feeling. I mean this evergreen color is gorgeous, and I love it’s a shift dress. That means being comfortable while grazing over the snack buffet….6 times, HaHa! I also love the length. It’s perfect for the office, you could pair tights and a pump, then switch out to booties to edge it up for your event or party. This dress also combines a few of my favorites things: cold-shoulder and ruffles…What could be better than that? Oh, maybe that it’s ONLY $30!!!

My Top Dresses For Holiday Events + Parties
- Shift Dress: Like the dress in this post it’s comfortable! It is also a great style for almost all body types.
- Sweater Dress: Perfect for winter because they are warm. When I lived in Kansas City the winters got cold, making it hard to wear dresses without feeling like I had to layer with tights and a heavy coat. Sweater dresses add a thick layer so you will stay warm, plus they’re cute with tights and pumps, booties or over the knee boots.
- Beaded or Sequin Dress: I can’t help myself when it comes to anything with sequins or great beading, but especially during this time of the year! They’re so fun and it’s definitely one of the times it’s acceptable to wear either of these all day long!
Also, here are a couple of looks from last year if you need even more inspiration: 1 2 3
I’d love to hear from you…What do you think, are you a dress person for Winter, and/or the holidays? What’s your favorite style?
Thank you so much for stopping by. Hope you have a great weekend!
