Fall Home Decor Favorites

Alright, so I love to decorate my home for different seasons and holidays. Am I great at it, not particularly…but that doesn’t stop me! It’s just so much fun to get in the spirit of the year and bring a little festive feel to our home and get the girls excited about whatever is coming up.

My Mom always decorated for the holidays and seasons, not as much as she does now, especially since she has more time on her hands. So it’s something I have just been use to and a tradition I like to share with my girls.

Here’s the thing though, with Pinterest and social media we can get a little overwhelmed or feel like we just can’t do those over-the-top scenes people create. But guess what…you don’t have to go all out! Don’t feel like you have to be an interior designer, because I sure as heck am not.

So, grab a few favorite things, keep it affordable and just add little touches here and there. A few of my favorite places to shop for easy and simple decor is Target’s $1-$5 spot and Walmart.

I almost always do something with my fireplace. It’s just an easy place to really add a few things and make an overall impact on the space. Everything on my mantel is from the Target last season, except the larger white pumpkins. I grabbed those from Walmart for $3 a piece.

Then throughout the house I just add a few things here and there. On our dresser I places a few pumpkins, a candle and a little floral/pom pom arrangement. Nothing on here cost more than $1…So affordable, right??!?

Finally I grabbed a few other little pumpkins from both stores for our nightstand and for the girls room.

I’m sharing a round up of my Fall home decor favorites. Things I already have, have purchased or similar to mine if I couldn’t find my exact items.

Just remember to keep it simple, affordable and most of all don’t feel like you have to keep up with all of Pinterest.
