I love leggings, they are just so good AND functional, but also they just fit into everyday life. I spend the majority of my days in leggings (see here here here), mostly because I am at home with the girls. I’m constantly sitting on the floor, chasing the girls around or picking up around the house, as a result I just want to be comfortable. So, I am all about being comfortable, not only in my everyday life, but also for my holiday and going out style. Velvet is one of my favorite trends right now, so when I saw it in a legging I about died! This pair from Express is perfect, I just ordered them and can’t wait to get them. Here are five ways to wear velvet leggings this Fall and Winter.
Everyday Casual style
Before I buy anything the first think in my head is “can I wear this while I’m running around with my kids?” It’s not a total game changer if I can’t because then I’ll look at price per wear. However, leggings are one of those multi-functional pieces that you wear casually or you dress them up. In my everyday style I’d pair them with a t-shirt, cardigan and some sneakers/slip-ons. I have put together three different ways to wear velvet leggings casually, for different levels of casual.
Velvet Leggings + Slip-Ons
Velvet Leggings + Flats
Velvet Leggings + Booties
Dress them up for a happy hour, dinner or an event
Take these leggings from running errands to a night out by changing to a cute blouse and adding a pump. The transformation is quick and easy. If you chose a different blouse, you can go the opposite direction and take these leggings from work to running errands, or taking the kids to their after school activities.
Velvet Leggings for Work
Velvet Leggings for a Night Out
What do you all think? Are you a fan of leggings and wear them WAY to much, especially in the winter? I can’t wait to get these velvet leggings in and start styling them in these different ways. What’s your favorite way to wear leggings?
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a great day and week!
Booties is my go to with legging, then slip ons and flats. In that order. Btw, your picks are really cute dear.
