It’s Friday, WooHoo! I keep thinking to myself does that even mean anything anymore? We’re all at home, ALL THE TIME… Working from home, home schooling and finding big and small projects to knock out at home. Time just keeps rolling by and everyday just blends together. How are you handling all this time spent at home?
I have been trying to take a little time to myself everyday. I get up early, enjoy a hot cup of coffee and take in the quiet and peaceful moments. Even if it’s just for a few minutes, it’s something that helps prepare me for the day. Do you take time for yourself everyday? I find it so important to my mental sanity, and my anxiety.
Another way I grab a few minutes to myself is my nightly skincare routine. I like to take the time and treat it like a mini spa. A few minutes and I feel like I’m relaxed and ready to end the night. So for this week’s Friday Favorite’s I wanted to share some of my favorite skincare tools
Favorite Skincare Tools
At home dermaplane blade – I am all about my dermaplane. It’s one of my favorite things, and although these little razors aren’t as good as a real dermaplane they’re still great to use. They’re a little safer than a regular blade, and great for getting rid of that extra peach fuzz.
Jade Roller – I use this almost every morning. I just love the cool stone on my face, but it also helps puffiness and I notice it helps my larger pores.
Cure gentle exfoliating gel – my favorite gentle exfoliating gel. I love that this has no beads, sugar or rough pieces to it. It also helps my skin feel soft, smooth and it pills grabbing the dead skin with it. It’s awesome and it’s not harsh on your skin.
Facial steamer – This is so nice to have. It’s to help open your pores, cleanse away impurities, improve absorption of facial products.
Face care headbands – These are my favorite headbands. I have a couple of them and wear them all the time when doing my makeup or skin care routines. I have the leopard one, which is soft and fuzzy, and the flamingo one, which is made of water resistant material.
These are just a few of my favorite things. I’d love to hear what you love and can’t life without in the comments below.
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great weekend.
