If you’ve been following me for a while then you know James and I love good wine (see here and here). We don’t enjoy a glass as often as we use to. Probably because of the girls, working a crazy amount of hours and really, who has time to be tired or hungover. But, when we do, it has to be a good bottle and using some of the best wine glasses and accessories. So this gift guide is one of my favorites, it’s for that wine lover in your life. We have several of these to buy for so I’m always on the hunt for great gifts ideas. So here is my Gifts for the Wine Lover.
Bottle/bottles of wine. Buying wine can be a little tricky because everyone has their own individual tastes. But you can grab help from your local wine store or check out Wine Spectator’s Top 100 list. We once put together a case of wine for my in-laws picking all wines from this list. Such a great gift and the wines are always good.
Decanter or Aerator. Anyone who enjoys wine has to have a decanter. Some wines really have to open up before they taste their best. The best way to do this is pouring it into a decanter. If you know the person doesn’t have a ton of storage space then pick out an aerator, it’s another way to open up the wine.
Wine Tools. From a foil cutter to bottle opener there are several tools that make opening a bottle or pouring with a little easier. Find a great kit that’s already put together, or create your own kit.
Wine Glasses. My sister disagrees with me here, but having the right glass really changes the taste of the wine. We once did a side by side wine tasting trying the wine out of a Riedel wine glass vs those decorative glasses. You guys it makes such a huge difference. So finding a set of great glasses makes the perfect gift!
Wine Accessories. There are so many fun accessories you can find. I love these wine glass charms for entertaining. We also love doing blind wine tastings so these bottle bags are great. There are also so many great wine platters and serving pieces that also make great gifts.
The great thing about this gift guide is that it doesn’t have to just be a guide for Christmas. All of these ideas are great for a housewarming or hostess gift.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Hope you have a great week!
These are perfect gifts for my friends and relatives! Thanks for sharing these ideas dear.

This is fabulous! Definitely my favorite gift guide and I have my eye on that gorgeous decanter and the charms! Thank you so much!
I’m sensing a theme with your posts today! haha! This is actually super helpful for me because all my friends love wine!
These will make the wine lovers feel in love-amazing
As I don’t drink wine and have a through history of alcoholism in my family, I cannot really endorse these products, but considering there are a lot of booze heads out there I guess they’ll have a go. 🙂
