Lately I’ve been sharing more about ways I have been trying to create a healthier lifestyle. Incorporating healthy recipes is not exactly easy. Especially when you’re working full time, keeping up with family life and maybe having another side job. I have also been utilizing these tips for working out and staying motivated. These tips may sound simple, but they really have been helping me lately. One of the excuses we all use a lot is that we’re too tired to get to the gym or go for that walk. So I want to share one of my favorite simple coconut Matcha smoothie that gives a ton of energy.
I love the Organic Evolution Matcha because of it’s health benefits. My sister-in-law Kara is the one that first introduced me to matcha and it’s benefits years ago. Kara, a Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist, helps me create healthy snacks options and meal also shared these benefits of Matcha
Benefits Of Matcha
- It’s high in antioxidants, which is responsible for fighting against the negative effects of UV radiation, giving us younger-looking skin, and preventing a number of life-threatening maladies.
- It has EGCg, the most widely recognized antioxidant for counteracting the effects of free radicals and cancer fighting properties. Scientists have found that Matcha Green Tea contains over 100 times more EGCg than any other tea on the market.
- Matcha gives more sustained energy than other stimulants without negative side affects, like increased heart, blood pressure or post caffeine crash
- Contains L-Theanine which produces dopamine and serotonin.Meaning it enhances your mood, improves memory, and promotes better concentration
