How To Update And Elevate Your Look: 3 Trench Coat Outfits

It’s official, I have a candy and sweets hangover after last night’s Halloween festivities. And I’m sure I’m not the only one. It’s one of those days when putting something, anything cute seems impossible. But, that’s what I’m here for. I’m here to help make style easy, obtainable and simple. My big style tip today to elevate your look this Fall and Winter is as easy as adding one accessory.

Throw on a trench coat. Whether it’s over a cute dress because you’re headed to work, or over your sweats while running errands. It instantly makes your look put together and chic. There’s something about a trench coat that just changes the whole vibe of what you wear underneath it.

I’m sharing three easy looks that are easy to re-create and make work for your daily routine.

Casual Trench Coat Outfit

On those days you don’t want to get dressed and just want to wear your sweats or joggers, add your trench coat. This is a simple grey jogger set. It’s comfortable and easy to run around in. But, by itself it could look sloppy if your hair is up, you have no makeup on, etc… The trench coat makes the whole look effortless and chic.

Dressed Up Trench Coat Outfit

For those days you need to be a little more polished, elevate you look with a trench coat over a sweater and jeans. Sneakers are totally ok with this look too, but adding a pair of booties dresses it up a bit. If you can dress it down a bit more, swap out the sweater for a graphic or plain tee.

If you’re headed to a meeting or the office, it looks great over dresses and skirts too!

Another great tip for us busy Mama’s is to add a hat to your look. I do this in order to stretch my hair out an extra day or two.
