Before Thursday’s Shows
Happy Friday! This has been a very long and crazy week, per usual! I feel like we all say that, every Friday… amiright?!?!
Anyway, I thought I’d round out the week with a recap of last week’s KC Fashion Week activities.
I am so honored I was asked to be apart of their very first Influencer Collective group of women to help cover the 15th season.
I loved being able to meet so many people I have followed on Instagram for a while, as well as meet so many new people!
It’s funny a couple of people asked me if I’d ever been to KC Fashion week before and at first I said no, but later remember I use to go years ago. Probably when it first started, and my sister walked the runway.
Way back then it was a very small crowd, standing only and I think only one night featuring a few designers.
Boy has it changed and it was amazing! I was totally blown away by the designers and the entire production.
There were so many fun events and wish I could have attended them all, but life happens!
Here’s a recap of KCFW Activities and Shows
A few weeks prior to the shows a few of us girls met up at Wonder Wonder to take some photos. We were also able to meet some of the designers during their rack check and model fitting.
Bubbly & Bowties
Fashion week kicked off for me with the Bubbly and Bowies event at the Everly Event Space. The space was beautiful. I loved the live band, the hanging lights and my favorite was the cotton candy cocktail toppers!
The shows

Before Saturday’s shows
I was able to go to the Thursday night shows, and part of Saturday night (I got majorly sick, Boo!). The caliber of creativity these designers presented was very impressive. As I mentioned before, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but it was all exceeded.
- Hannah Kristina Designs
It was hosted at the Grand Hall Power and Light, which is stunning in itself. And let’s be honest, I was able to attend part of San Francisco Fashion, even walk in a show, and I would put KC Fashion Week right up there.
- Hayden LA
Also, I think the pure excitement, joy and enthusiasm from the crowd is what I loved the most. The fashion was vibrant between sequins, feathers, prints and classic designs. I was impressed by the pure talent and artistry.
- Topping Designs
I’m so thankful for being apart of this season’s Influencer Collective group and I’m already looking forward to next season’s events and shows in the Fall.
