Well guys and girls, we made it through all of the holiday madness. I hope you had the best time celebrating with your family and friends! We sure did, I mean I took a week off of posting (Ooops!) in order to really enjoy my time with our families and friends in Kansas City.
Ours was just the way we wanted it, in Kansas City with our families. We started with our Christmas Eve service at our home church. It’s my favorite service of the year. The candle lighting tradition to Silent Night….it just doesn’t get much better than that.
Then went to my in-laws house and celebrated my birthday with them. It’s always fun to have some champs and cake and visit with them.
We always stay at my sisters for the first half of our trip. She sets up a little tree for us to have a place for our Christmas Morning tradition.
This year was so fun with the girls. Aria, of course, loves opening gifts, but Amelia was having fun with the paper and ripping it off! We kept our Christmas small (we did the majority of our small gifts from Glitter the elf) because we were out of town and had to travel with everything back to California, but the girls made out pretty well between the grandparents.
Aria has actually been asking me for a suitcase for a couple of months. Which actually worked out well for us because we used them to bring a lot of things back! And these from Pottery Barn Kids are just TOO cute! I’m a sucker for pink, gold, polka dots and glitter!!!
Late morning/early afternoon we head to my moms for Christmas and my birthday celebrations. It’s a long day, but very fun to be with family.
Here are a few more pictures from our trip:

Thanks for stopping by! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Years! I’m so excited for what is to come this year!
