We’ve had a lot of rain recently so we’ve had to play inside. Coming up with new, fun activities can be challenging when you’re stuck inside for an entire week.
For Christmas my Mom got Aria this chocolate bar kit. It was cute, it came with two pouches of chocolate, white and milk, candy mold and wrappers so she could wrap them like real mini candy bars.
So one rainy morning we decided to make them.
Best thing about this kit was that it made it so easy and fast. I feel like 3 year olds have short attention spans so any activity has to be short. I’d say we were done and had the bars cooling in like 10 minutes, if not less.
I feel like if you have candy molds you could easily do this with any chocolate chips. The first step was to put the chips in a little bag (could easily use a baggie and put the chocolate in the corner for snipping and “piping” into mold later). Once chocolate is melted squeeze into the mold. Do the same for the white chocolate and you’re done. Like I said, SOO easy!
So, if you’re stuck inside and need something fun, quick and easy; this is a great little activity to do with this kids.
Thanks for stopping by, hope you have a wonderful week!!!
