Are you all familiar with the Veronica Beard brand? I had the opportunity to head down to the Nordstrom in Palo Alto this weekend and meet the Veronica’s behind the brand. You guys, these girls are so amazing! I hope you had the chance to see a sneak peak of the event on my InstaStory, but if not I’m sharing all the amazing details here and why I LOVE the brand more than I already did!

The event began with a fun mingling session in the Cafe with small brunch bites and mimosa…I mean who can’t get behind that?? Well I definitely can, this Mom doesn’t take nearly enough time out to herself so, I’m always down for a mimosa! Since I’m still relatively new (2 year in) into the blogging world, this was the perfect time to meet other amazing and inspiring women also doing what I love!

During this time we also had a chance to sneak a look at some of the items in their Fall collection…you guys, if you follow this brand they have primarily been known for their Dickey Jacket, a jacket that let’s you change out an insert to create a cool layered look (without all of the layers, allowing you to actually moves your arms…GENIUS RIGHT??). As time and popularity has passed, they’ve slowly rolled out cute tops, versatile dresses and now denim and shoes!!!

So after this, we attended a Q&A session with the Sister-In-Laws followed by a presentation of the fall collection. The Veronica’s are so inspiring and empowering. I love how they focus on fashion that takes a women from seven in the morning to any eight o’clock at night after hours event. They really try to focus on creating pieces that are staples and allow for multi-functional use, they want you to wear these over and over again….they are designed to last!

Take, for example the Dickey Jacket. I’m all about any item that can be worn and styled in different ways for different occasions and I’m all about the price per wear. Even though this collection is on the higher end, you will wear these a ton, because they’re classic styles that you can wear season after season. The Dickey Jacket can be updated from year to year because there are always new Dickey’s every season you can rotate in. This is what I would say is one of those splurge items you won’t regret, because not only is it stylish, it’s multi-functional and can be worn over and with anything.

Also, the release of their denim, which is fabulous, I mean that tuxedo stripe is giving me ALL the heart eyes!!! But, if that is not your jam, there is a traditional option too. Best Part: these are designed by women, for women, so you know the cut and fit is going to be perfection!

I have to say, this event was so fun. It was small, intimate and perfect for leaning more about the Veronica Beard brand. I loved how I was able to hear more about the women behind the brand, their love of fashion and designing for the everyday women. These women are all about supporting other women and making them feel like they can face anything that comes their way and looking stylish as the do!
