Well the temps around here have been out of control…I’m talking over 100 degress, what’s up with this California?!?! I am a fall fiend, I LOVE everything about Fall, from the cooler temps, to layering sweaters and cardigans, to all of the Fall scents and flavors!
My other favorite thing about Fall and Winter are ALLLLL of the amazing boots and booties. I wear booties far more than I would love to admit, but they’re just so cute and are an easy addition to take a simple look to the next level. I mean take a basic jeans and tee combo, certainly you could pair some cute flats or a sneaker, but those are soooo expected. Next, time pick a great bootie and see how much different the outfit is, it’s a great feeling and definitely a great way to repeat the same outfit, but people won’t know because you changed up the shoes…seriously, try it!!
Basic Block Heel – I love a basic block heel bootie. They tend to be more comfortable and wearable for a longer period of time. I have a pair of these in black, brown, taupe, grey, etc … You get the point, they are a classic and can be worn day in and day out with a simple tee or blouse.
Flat Ankle Bootie – These are also a staple, because they can lend a more casual look. This type of bootie is also perfect to pair right now with a cute sundress or shorts and tee.
White Bootie – Everything white is so HOT right now. We’re still kind of on that 80s/90s trend and these are the perfect way to get the look without going over board. These are perfect paired with denim, dresses or even a great crop pant.
Lace-Up Bootie – This is the perfect way to add some interest and dimension to a look. I love that these are a great transitional bootie. They can take you from Spring all the way to the end of Fall. So you will get a lot of use out of this style.
Printed Bootie – There are so many amazing print on booties these days, from floral to paisley and they are definitely for the more daring person. I am loving these, but because they are so bold, I am not sure how often I will actually wear them. My tip for a bold trend is to find a cute option at a lower price point. See how often you actually wear it, then if you want to splurge on the more expensive pair you can, because you already have an idea of how you’ll wear it and if the price per wear works for you.
Thanks for stopping by!
I do want to find a floral printed bootie. Thanks for the options.
