Happy Friday! I hope you all have had a great week. As we gear up for the all the craziness in the coming weeks I wanted to update you all on my CoolSculpting results so far. I took my half way photos a couple of weeks ago, but things have just been so crazy that I haven’t had a chance to update you. If you aren’t familiar with what CoolScultping is, then see my original post here. I talk about what CoolSculpting is, what to expect and what my experience was.
I have been so happy with my results so far. Although I haven’t lost any weight, which is not expected, I have noticed a difference in the fit of my clothes. This is one of the most important things for me. Weight is just a number, but how my clothes fit and what I look like in them is what I wanted to fix. So below I am going to review what I experienced six weeks post CoolSculpting.
Six Weeks Post CoolSculpting Results + Experience
- My abdomen was numb for about 2-2.5 weeks. This didn’t bother me, it was just different.
- The lower abdomen was sore for about 1-1.5 weeks. This didn’t interrupt my daily life. I could still pick up my kids (if you followed me during the process then you saw I was able to hold my kids within 30 minutes of completing the procedure). I would say it really only bothered me during diaper changes when Amelia would kick. This wasn’t the most comfortable, but very manageable.
- Once I started noticing results I was more motivated to workout. It was like my jump start to getting back into fitness. I was so fit before getting pregnant with Amelia, but between the two girls, working full time and picking up blogging full time I have been exhausted and unmotivated. But as I was feeling skinnier, I wanted to see more and better results. Thus, I have been getting into the gym a few times a week.
- I feel more confident than I have in a long time. I know what you must be thinking. You blog and take pictures of yourself and post them everyday, surely you don’t have insecurities. WRONG. WRONG. WRONG. I have been insecure about my appearance for as long as I can remember. I have struggled with calorie restricting and a few eating disorder behavior since college and have never been happy with my body. Lately that has been changing. Now, I can’t fully attribute that to CoolScultping, but I have to say it has helped tremendously. I do have two young girls and I want to teach them to love themselves, including their bodies, just the way they are. And to do this I am working on my own attitude towards myself to be that example for them.
What to Expect Next
As you may remember, it takes a good three months to see maximum results. December will make three months for me. I will take my final photos a sometime next month and will share my final results with you after that. I’ll be honest, I will be traveling for the majority of December, so the post will probably post in January.
In light of my re-connection to fitness and focusing on my goal of losing weight and getting fit again I have put together a couple of gift guides for the fitness lover. I mean we are in the season of gifting after all!!

I had my treatment done at Allure Rejuvenation Center here in Walnut Creek. You guys I have been an ICU nurse for many years and am always SOO picky who I see and use for any healthcare related services. I would not only recommend Sheri, but I trust her with my friends and family who I have already referred to her. She keeps it real, honest and very professional. If you’re in The Bay Area it’s definitely worth your time to meet with her for your free consultation.
After reading my original post and seeing my half-way CoolSculpting results what are your thoughts? Would you have CoolSculpting done in your trouble area?
Also, what questions do you have on CoolSculpting? I am happy to answer anything and will be as honest as possible.
