The quilted/puffer vest is one of the best layering pieces for Fall and Winter. You will see me pull this out pretty much all the time. In fact, I’ll wear a puffer vest before reaching for a jacket. I love how easy they are, and they allow my under shirt to shine through. Since there are so may ways to wear the quilted vest, I thought I’d share a whole post on vest outfit ideas for Fall.
You can easily wear a vest over a solid long sleeve tee or sweater, but you don’t have to. Quilted vests actually work perfectly with stripes or print underneath. I love how they play into each other and really just bring it all together.
Wearing a print ultimately elevates your look. Mostly because it adds something to the look without you having to do much. And you all might know by now that I like easy.
I don’t fuss around with a ton of jewelry. So incorporating prints and textures into my style adds that extra punch without that extra effort.
Vests also make such a great transition piece in both Spring and Fall, but also allow for warmth in the Winter. I love wearing them with just about anything.
Are you a fan of the vest? Are you on the simple side like the puffer vest, or will you get into the fur vest style once it’s really cold? I’m definitely a fur vest girl too!
