I bet you have seen tutorials on how to tie a blanket scarf already, or maybe not. I actually hadn’t seen a formal tutorial until I went to Pinterest recently. Blanket scarves continue to be a hit over the years, but I always wear it the same way. Until recently, I always wore my scarves one or two ways…but I was ready to up my scarf game now that I live in cold Winter climate.
Sometimes I look around and realized that EVERYONE is wearing blanket scarves, but in different ways than me. So this series of eight tutorials focuses on the prevailing blanket scarf and just how to wear it, style it and mix up your looks.
Before we get into the tutorials, I’d like to make just one quick note about making a blanket scarf purchase. DO NOT over spend…You should never spend more than $20 on a scarf, unless you feel it is totally worth it and will be worn a ton. There have been so many I have found at affordable prices. In fact the three in this post were purchased from Target’s under $5 spot 2 years ago. They’re every bit as cozy, soft and functional as those you see for $60+
