This week I’m sharing how to maximize your favorite sweaters. I’ve come up with 6 sweater outfit ideas with two sweaters.
I love taking anything from day to night. It makes life easy and simplifies the whole “getting ready” routine. Now I’ll be the first to admit, my family is always waiting on me to get ready. Not because it takes me forever, but mostly because I misjudge the amount of time it takes to pick out an outfit.
I’ll have something in mind and when I go to put it on I’m either not feeling it, or it just didn’t look like it did in my head.
But honestly, is it just me, or is the actual getting ready, like hair and makeup the easy part? It is for me. I can wand curl my hair in about ten minutes and we all know my makeup routine is less than 10 minutes as well. But the getting dressed is where I get tripped up.
So creating outfits that I can just switch out one or two things and I’m good makes the whole thing so much better! amiright?
6 Sweater Outfit Ideas
I am loving both of these sweaters I recently found, and love their versatility even more! I mean honestly anything that can be worn with leggings is the best piece in my book!
So weather you’re running errands or grabbing drinks with your friends or love take your fave sweater from day to night with these simple tips and tricks.
Change up the shoes. Mama’s I know you’re right there with me when it comes to wearing sneakers all day. but simply exchange them out for a pump and you’re all set.
Change up the bag. Carrying a larger bag, or tote, is the best way to add a casual vibe. To switch it up grab your must have items from that and throw it in a clutch, or small crossbody bag.
Pair it with jeans. Ok so this may seem obvious. But it’s always a good reminder. Simply going from leggings to jeans is an instant way to dress something up. Well maybe that’s not always the case, but I do like to get out of leggings every now and again. Ha
There are a few other ways to change up your look if these aren’t your jam. Maybe adding jewelry, intensifying your eye make, or change up your hair. You could to a sleek low ponytail or a bun.
One of the things I’ve been challenging myself with this year is to get out of my own box. Try mixing in styles that aren’t my typical. When I come up with something that’s cute and not my norm I almost always instantly feel more chic.
Let me know your favorite way to mix up an outfit below. I’m always needing more ideas to challenge my style!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
