I don’t know about you, but this time of year everyone starts sharing all of their holiday home decor. You start feeling like you need all new stuff, dying because everyone is posting Christmas gifts and decor before Halloween. What happen to the days where you put your tree up on Thanksgiving Day, or the weekend after?
All of a sudden Halloween and Thanksgiving are almost obsolete, am I right?
It’s one of these things I have a love/hate relationship with. On one hand I do love everything about Christmas. From the meaning, the decor to the magical feeling that seems to take over. Everyone is stressed, but I also find people more happy.
But, I also love the fun spirit of Halloween and the feeling of be being thankful and grateful during Thanksgiving. What do you think, do you like this trend of Christmas creeping up earlier and earlier?
Any, regardless of when we decide to decorate, we still need to do it. There’s always SOO many cute new things out every year. In general my style for Christmas decorating has stayed the same, but because of new color schemes and trends that are popular…I think I need all the things.
Here is a holiday decor round-up of the things I am loving right now! Plus, a few of my favorite places to shop are
- Target – I love shopping here because they offer so many items that are on trend, but are affordable. So if you want to mix it up each year you won’t feel guilty for buying a few new pieces each year.
- Anthropology – I always find the cutest, unique pieces here. I also love they offer a a little bit of a classic style, so I tend to shop for the things I know I will use for several years because they can be a little more costly.
- TJ Maxx, HomeGoods – again I love that it’s affordable and you can find a mix of classic and trendy decor pieces. This is where I tend to go for those finishing touch items. I actually got my deer on my fireplace from here.
