Since we moved I have become all kinds of interested in decluttering and minimizing so many things in my life. I think it started after working with my friends over at Top Shelf Organizers. She taught me to look at things a little differently and since then I haven’t had a problem throwing things away, donating and consigning.
I’ll be the first to admit that I still have a long way to go, but it’s definitely the goal in our house. I first started with clothes, that was actually pretty easy. Especially because I didn’t want to move anything I didn’t really want or need.
Little by little during our packing process I made my way to our master bathroom. I found the dreaded makeup bin. It was saved for that one special day I might need something out of there. I looked through it briefly, then decided to throw it away…and I haven’t missed anything from there ONE. SINGLE. BIT.
This is one step closer to getting rid of the clutter, and I then became a Makeup Minimalist. Here is why it works:
Clean Out That Makeup Drawer To Be A Makeup Minimalist
It’s Compact and Customizable. Since I started using Maskcara I’ve realized I have everything I need in 1-2 compacts (like to keep my creams away from my powders). But, how awesome is that?!?! You don’t need to have a bunch of different bottles of primer, foundation, concealer, etc…So you’re looking at less mess and clutter. My other favorite is ALL of the brushes are double ended so they’re 2-in-1!
It’s Pretty. There’s no other way to say it. With this compact you can get your highlight and contoured look with less product. Making your face look beautiful, without all the layers and layers it use to take to achieve the same look. It’s called 3D foundation because it’s giving your face dimension, highlighting your best features.
Easy and Efficient. As a working mom of 2 I don’t have time for all the layers and digging through a bag of makeup to find what I need. It’s all right there in the compact. I not only learned how to do my makeup, but I can do it in about 5 minutes. Plus it’s easily portable for the days you need to take it to-go.
Affordable. Just like any big switch there will be some cost. But once you get your initial palette, you will only have to replace each tin as you need to. You’re getting that high end, professional quality makeup at a much more affordable price point. Each tin is $12-$16 and will last you several months, or more depending on the product.
There are so many things to love about Maskcara makeup. I believe makeup should be used to enhance your beauty, not cover it up. Maskcara is made to simplify your routine and the process of getting ready and if you have followed me for a while then you know Simplicity is MY JAM!
I have been using Maskcara now for two years and I will never look back. As a girl who was never into makeup, and struggled with the entire process I LOVE THE SIMPLICITY and EASE of this compact.
