Striped Cardigan + Cutoffs

I don’t know about you guys, but all of the #NSale shopping has me dying for the weather to cool down a bit and start putting on some layers. I feel like most people are all about Summer, don’t get me wrong, I love the longer days, going to the pool and having patio parties, but outside of some cute dresses and rompers summer style can be a little boring…Does anyone else feel this way?

Fall and winter fashion just bring so many layers and depth to and anyone who knows me well know I have a serious thing for jackets, oversized cardigans included because our California weather doesn’t always require big coats. The minute I saw this cardigan I was instantly in love, it’s neutral colors are going to lend itself so versatile all season long.

Unfortunately this particular one sold out (if you keep watching it comes back briefly here and there) super fast in the early days of the Anniversary sale, but that’s ok, there are a TOOOOON of amazing cardigans out there that are going to be closet staples all season long and I have rounded up a bunch below.

For Fall I love throwing on a cutoffs and a tee to run around all day, who am I kidding that’s a summer staple too….but you can easily carry this look into Fall just by adding your favorite cardigan.

Besides having the right layers, a great wedge and booties are a must to transition an outfit. I have been on a little bit of a shoe kick lately, but these cognac wedges have been on serious repeat and will continue to be all Fall. They really are the perfect transitional shoe because they have a fair amout of coverage, like a bootie, but the cutouts and open toe are great for the daytime when it’s still a little warm outside.
